By OUR STAFF REPORTER Dehradun, 8 Feb: St Jude’s School’s Annual Inter-House One Act Play Competition, held today, showcased the theatrical talents of its Middle School Students.
The Jonty Multipurpose Auditorium was transformed into a vibrant tapestry of artistic expression as four Houses – Lyons, Khanna, Gardner and Howard, presented their meticulously crafted productions, each inspired by a unique topic rooted in history.
Gardner House’s production, Abraham Lincoln: The Great Emancipator, was a masterpiece of storytelling, while Howard House’s theatrical magic shone bright in The Flame of Honour.
Khanna House followed with Rani of Jhansi, a gripping tale that showcased their dramatic flair. Lyons House kicked off the competition with their production, titled Test of Tenali’s Wit which left the audience in awe.
The Competition was judged by Principal M Gardner, whose keen eyes scrutinised every aspect of the performances. Individual excellence was also recognised, with awards for Best Actress Amishi Jain and Best Actor Siddhant Satsangi.
In the end, Howard House emerged victorious, with their captivating interpretation of The Flame of Honour. The winning team was overjoyed as their hard work and dedication had paid off.
