U’khand BJP announces executive teams for frontal organisations

DEHRADUN, 3 Jan: Uttarakhand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has declared the complete executive teams for its seven frontal organisations, assigning responsibilities to 268 individuals. The appointments cover the Mahila Morcha, Kisan Morcha, Yuva Morcha, Scheduled Caste Morcha, Scheduled Tribe Morcha, Other Backward Classes Morcha and the Minority Morcha. This announcement follows the appointment of the State presidents for these wings around two months ago. The appointments of the executive teams is being seen from a perspective of preparations by the party for the State Assembly elections due early next year.
At a time when the party is navigating challenging circumstances in the State, the move is also being viewed as an effort to consolidate organisational strength and maintain the confidence of its cadre. A total of 268 office-bearers have been inducted across the seven wings to reinforce the structure.
Under the leadership of State president Ruchi Bhatt, the Mahila Morcha has appointed 39 office-bearers. The team includes six State Vice-Presidents, two State General Secretaries, and six State Secretaries, along with officials for the posts of Treasurer, Office Secretary, Co-Office Secretary, Media Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, and IT Coordinator. The structure also features three Media Co-coordinators, five Spokespersons, three Social Media Co-coordinators, and two IT Co-coordinators, with coordinators and co-coordinators for both Garhwal and Kumaon regions. Key appointments include Rita Chamoli from Haridwar, Amardei Shah from Rudraprayag, Kamala Chuphal from Pithoragarh, Kiran Pant from Almora, Roma Saini from Roorkee, and Bhavna Dobhal from Tehri Garhwal as State Vice-presidents. Himani Vaishnav from Chamoli and Rashmi Rastogi from Udham Singh Nagar have been named State Secretaries, while Divya Negi from Dehradun City has been appointed as State Media Coordinator.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has been reconstituted with largest team with 60 members. This includes eight State Vice-presidents, eight State Secretaries, four Media Co-coordinators, five Spokespersons, two Social Media Co-coordinators, and two IT co-coordinators. Single appointments were made for IT Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Media Coordinator, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Office Secretary, and Assistant Office Secretary. The youth wing also designated coordinators and co-coordinators for Garhwal and Kumaon, along with specialised roles such as Policy and Research Coordinators, Legal Coordinators, and coordinators for membership, sports, college outreach, and study circles.
The Kisan Morcha has been reconstituted with 42 office-bearers, including six State Vice-Presidents, two State General Secretaries, and six State Secretaries, with officials for Treasurer, Office Secretary, and Media Coordinator. The team also includes three Media Co-coordinators, three Spokespersons, and one Social Media Coordinator. The Scheduled Caste Morcha has announced 33 office-bearers, comprising six State Vice-Presidents, two State General Secretaries, and six State Secretaries, along with officials for Treasurer, Office Secretary, Media Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, and IT Coordinator. The team is supported by two Media Co-coordinators, three Spokespersons, and two Social Media Co-coordinators, with regional representation for Garhwal and Kumaon.
The Minority Morcha has declared 30 office-bearers, featuring six State Vice-Presidents, two State General Secretaries, and six State Secretaries, along with officials for Treasurer, Office Secretary, Media Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, IT Coordinator, and IT Co-coordinator. The wing also includes two Media Co-coordinators and two Social Media Co-coordinators, with coordinators for Garhwal and Kumaon. The Other Backward Classes Morcha has appointed 33 office-bearers, including six State Vice-Presidents, two State General Secretaries, and six State Secretaries, along with three Spokespersons and officials for Treasurer, Office Secretary, Media Coordinator, Media Co-coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, IT Coordinator, and IT Co-coordinator.
The Scheduled Tribe Morcha has announced 30 office-bearers, including six State Vice-Presidents, two State General Secretaries, six State Secretaries, and three Spokespersons. Single appointments have been made for Treasurer, Office Secretary, Media Coordinator, Media Co-coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Social Media Co-coordinator, and IT Coordinator.
As previously noted, the state presidents of these wings remain Ruchi Chauhan Bhatt for Mahila Morcha, Vipul Maindoli for Yuva Morcha, Mahendra Singh Negi for Kisan Morcha, Prem Singh Rana for ST Morcha, Balveer Ghuniyal for SC Morcha, Anees Gaur for Minority Morcha, and Netrapal Maurya for OBC Morcha.
