Dehradun, 9 Aug: Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh (Retd) participated in the Governors’ Conference-2024 held in New Delhi on 2-3 August.
In this conference, all the governors of the country communicated through discussions and presentations on various subjects. The Uttarakhand Governor gave a presentation on “Implementation of three criminal laws”. The presentation was prepared with the help of the Legal Advisor to the Governor, Amit Kumar Sirohi, Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University Dr Rajesh Bahuguna, Prof Sharafat Ali of Siddharth Law College, Dr Vaibhav Uniyal, and Prof Anjum Parvez.
Lt Gen Singh said that the presentation was excellent and the research on this subject was appreciated by everyone. He said that an excellent document was prepared with everyone’s hard work and deep research. He said that the way private universities cooperated in this work is commendable. All the members who prepared the document were present at its presentation.
