Dehradun, 12 Jan: The police recovered the body of a young woman from the Shakti Canal in Vikasnagar area here on Friday.
Acting on information received, a team of the water police fished out the body from the canal near the intake of the Dhakrani Power House.
The body could not, however, be identified. It has been kept in the mortuary for further investigations. “Efforts are being made to identify the body,” a Dehradun police statement said.
