DEHRADUN, 3 Dec: Utopia Primary School celebrated its Mini Olympics 2018, here. The parents along with their tiny tots were received by the entertaining mascot of the school, named The Spirit of Utopia. The Chief Guest at the event was Aman Segra, and the first lady was Mrs Farooq. After welcoming and introducing the Guests, the ceremony began with the release of balloons. During the fun-filled day, children participated in various races. The day started with the Utopian Circuit races. The children took part with great sporting spirit in a number of engaging and innovative races such as ‘Building and Balancing the Pyramid’, ‘Pack your Bags’ and ‘School Relay Race’. The most exciting and enthralling one was the Campus Race in which the students of Step One, Preparatory Step and Senior Montessori gave tough competition to each other. The parents were also included as participants in the Mini Olympics in which the mothers and fathers demonstrated their Paper Boat making skills and Tie Knotting talent, respectively. The little ones cheered for their parents. The little Utopians and their sports general knowledge were tested through a Quiz. Each Utopian participated in every round of the quiz with great enthusiasm. With the end of the quiz, the Headmistress along with the Chief Guest and First Lady distributed the certificates and the medals to the victorious ones. The Mini Olympics concluded with a Vote of Thanks and High Tea.
