Virasat hears beats of Bhangra

DEHRADUN, 21 Oct: In the cultural programme held at the Virasat Festival here today, a group from Punjab, led by Jarnail Baaga, gave a performance of Bhangra. Baaga, is the director of Bagga Lok Nath Academy. A group of 16 people performed Jindwa and Bhangra. The accompanying instruments were Chimta, Drum, and Lathi. The group has performed all over India, and also in Russia, Australia, New Zealand, UK and Dubai. Following the Bhangra dance, Rahul Baagdi and Group performed the Faag folk dance of Haryana. The 14 people team danced with enthusiasm. The instruments used were Dholak, Dholki, and Harmonium.
