Voter enumeration forms distributed to party leaders in U’khand

Dehradun, 8 Jun: Under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme, the distribution of enumeration forms to voters officially began Uttarakhand from today. In continuation of this exercise, enumeration forms were also handed over to BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, Congress state president Ganesh Godiyal, Communist Party of India (Marxist) state secretary Rajkumar Purohit and Bahujan Samaj Party state secretary Jaspal Singh.

It may also be pointed out that, earlier in the day, the enumeration form was also handed over today to Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmit at Lok Bhavan, Nainital. The Governor is currently in Naintal as part of his annual stay at Lok Bhawan in Nainital.  On this occasion, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, Additional Secretary Reena Joshi, ADM Vivek Rai, and SDM Nawazish Khalik were also present.

Besides this, CEO of Uttarakhand Dr BVR Purushottam also handed over the voter enumeration form to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun today.

The campaign aims to ensure that every voter in the state receives the enumeration form as part of the ongoing revision process.
