Roorkee, 15 Oct: IIT Roorkee conducted the Sangram 2.0 Annual Sports Fest 2024. IITs, NITs, Universities and Colleges from 18 states participated in 15 sports disciplines from 11 to 13 October.
The Welham Boys’ School Squash Team excelled at Sangram 2.0, winning two Gold medals and one Bronze. The Welham A team secured Gold in the Team event, while the Welham B team took home the Bronze. Additionally, Unnati Tripathi achieved Gold in the individual Women’s category.
Both, Atulit and Unnati Tripathi were recognised as the best players of the tournament, which featured eight teams from IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, BITS Pilani, Shiv Nadar University, Punjab Engineering College, and Bennett University.
In the prize ceremony, Dr AK Panday (Senior Sports Officer), Professor Bhanu Prakash, Dr Ashish Yadav and other senior professors and officers were among those present.
