Dehradun, 23 Oct: The winter schedule for flights will be implemented at Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun) from 27 October. The DGCA has approved a total of 33 regular flights from Dehradun during the winter schedule. The Dehradun Airport Management has received the DGCA approved winter schedule of flights. All flights will operate according to the new timings, and this schedule will remain in force until the end of March.
As per the schedule, Indigo Airlines will operate the maximum number of flights from Dehradun during the winter season. This airline has been permitted to operate a total of 15 flights every day, including three to Jaipur, one to Ahmedabad, four to New Delhi, one to Mumbai, two flights to Hyderabad, one to Pune, one to Kolkata, one to Lucknow, and one to Bengaluru.
Vistara operates the second largest number of flights from Dehradun. During the winter season, Vistara has been permitted to operate 1 flight every day to Mumbai, 1 to Delhi and 1 to Bengaluru. Alliance Air has been permitted to operate a total of 8 flights every day to Delhi, Ayodhya, Kullu, Pantnagar and Amritsar. Flybig, a regional airline, has been permitted to fly two flights from Dehradun. Flybig will operate flights to Pithoragarh and Moradabad. Akasa Air will be operating flights to Mumbai and Bengaluru from Dehradun. It may be pointed out here that, at present, Akasa Air does not operate any flight from Dehradun.
