Dehradun, 1 Apr: Senior BJP leader Ravindra Jugran met Shailesh Bagoli, Secretary (Personnel) and Secretary to the Chief Minister, today, and drew his attention to two key issues.
The first was regarding delay in PCS Vacancies Notification.
Ravindra Jugran informed the Secretary that many departments have not yet provided complete details of vacancies for Lower and Upper PCS posts. Due to this, there is a delay in issuing the official notification.
In response, the Secretary assured that a meeting will be held within one or two days to address the matter and ensure further action.
The second was regarding delay in Recruitment by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
Highlighting the second issue, Jugran stated that the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission has been unable to release notifications for approximately 1,400 posts.
He explained that approval and finalisation of the syllabus is the responsibility of the government. The matter related to these posts has been pending at the government level for the past six months.
The Secretary directed the Additional Secretary (Personnel) to expedite the process and complete the work at the earliest.
The discussion focused on speeding up recruitment processes and resolving administrative delays to ensure timely filling of vacant government posts in Uttarakhand.
