Mussoorie, 2 Jul: With an eye on the upcoming assembly elections, the Mussoorie unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha held an organisational meeting aimed at strengthening the party structure down to the booth level and mobilising workers through digital platforms. The meeting featured detailed discussions on the organisation’s operational procedures, upcoming programmes, and election preparations. Office bearers and workers of the Mahila Morcha were introduced, and information regarding the organisation’s various activities was shared. Workers were urged to actively take the party’s schemes and policies to every household. Special emphasis was placed on undergoing training and obtaining certificates via the BJP’s ‘Saral App’ and digital learning app. Office-bearers noted that digital platforms could more effectively connect workers with organisational activities, government schemes, and public outreach campaigns. The meeting also reviewed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign for the electoral roll. Officials reported that 99.5 percent of the work in the Mussoorie area has been completed, and efforts are underway to ensure no eligible voter is left off the electoral roll. Addressing the gathering, speakers called upon the workers to engage actively in the upcoming assembly elections. They stated that by strengthening the organisation at the booth level, the government’s achievements and public welfare schemes would be effectively conveyed to the public. Additionally, party workers were urged to work with full vigour to ensure the formation of a Bharatiya Janata Party government once again in the upcoming elections. Attendees at the meeting included Mandal President Rajat Agarwal, Mandal Vice President Vijay Bindwal, former Mandal President Mohan Petwal, Municipal Council Chairperson Meera Saklani, Mahila Morcha Mandal President Jasodha Sharma, General Secretary Sunita Dabral, as well as Kamala Thapliyal, Anita Dhanai, Lakshmi Uniyal, Darshani Semwal, Roshni Rawat, Kavita, Seema Pundir, and Ruchika Kotal, along with other Mahila Morcha office-bearers and workers.
