Dehradun, 28 Sep: Ann Mary School hosted the “Lab on Wheels” initiative by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) for Class VI students.
The students actively participated in the engaging session and explored a wide range of working and display models on Newton’s Three Laws of Motion, periscopes, kaleidoscopes, the human skeletal system, acid-base reactions, elephant toothpaste, and several other scientific concepts.
The demonstrations provided students with an opportunity to connect classroom learning with practical applications. The concepts were explained through interesting experiments and interactive demonstrations, making the session informative, engaging, and enjoyable.
The programme encouraged students to observe, question, experiment, and develop a scientific temperament. It also helped them understand various scientific concepts in a simple and practical manner.
The enthusiastic participation of the students made the session lively and interactive. The initiative proved to be a valuable experiential learning experience, enhancing students’ practical understanding of science and inspiring them to explore the subject beyond the classroom.
