Govt raises DA for employees of Corporations

Dehradun, 31 Dec: The State Government has raised the dearness allowance (DA) of the employees of Public Sector Undertakings and other government corporations that had been pending for long. As per the order issued by Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey, employees drawing fifth and sixth pay commission scales as well as employees drawing seventh revised pay scale will get the benefit.

Employees will get the benefit of increased dearness allowance from 1 July, 2022, and 1 January, 2023, onwards in their salaries.

As per the order, Dearness Allowance of employees drawing the seventh revised pay scale has been raised from 38 percent to 42 percent, while the DA of the employees drawing fifth and sixth pay scales has been increased from 212 percent to 221 percent and from 396 percent to 412 percent, respectively.

Also, the employees drawing sixth pay scale who are being given dearness allowance from 1 July, will also get raised DA and, in their case, the DA has been raised from 203 percent to 212 percent.
