Dr Deepika Dixit, Dr Reenu Yadav and Dr Ramkumar, doctors of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, interacted with the students and explained in detail about the process of menstruation and physical hygiene. They gave important information to the girl students about hygiene and prevention of infection during menstruation. They said that most of the students and women hesitate to discuss menstruation. In women’s society, menstruation is not a problem, but a part of the life process. Due to lack of awareness, there is a risk of infection due to not taking care of hygiene during menstruation. There would be no risk of infection by using skin-friendly sanitary pads made with modern technology.
On this occasion, doctors also examined the health of the students and distributed free medicines.
Principal Dr Namrita Srivastava, Kavita Negi, Neeraj, Neeta Gupta, Sunita Bisht and others were present on this occasion.
