Nainital, 20 July: Uttarakhand Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan, during the third day of her Kumaon tour, visited Naina Devi Temple in Nainital and the world famous Kainchi Dham Neem Karoli Baba Temple. On this occasion, she prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state.
Khanduri visited Naina Devi Temple and performed ritualistic worship. After this, she reached the famous Kainchi Dham, where she visited the temple of Neem Karoli Baba and performed special worship.
During this, the Speaker said, “Visiting temples gives spiritual peace and energy. I have got an opportunity to pray for the welfare of the state by coming here. She said that this region of Kumaon is very important from the religious and cultural point of view and the purity and divinity here is unique. She appealed to the people of the state to play an active role in the care and preservation of their cultural heritage and religious places.
The Speaker also inquired about the arrangements of the temple and appreciated the operation and facilities there.
During this time, many local officials and devotees were also present along with Khanduri. She also listened to their problems and suggestions by establishing dialogue with the local people and assured them of their early solution.
This visit reflects the Speaker’s commitment towards communicating with the regional people and solving public problems.
