Dehradun, 26 Aug: BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt has expressed happiness at Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami getting a place in the list of more popular Chief Ministers in BJP-ruled states in a survey of the country’s prestigious media group (India Today). Bhatt has congratulated the CM for finding a high place in this list.
It may be recalled that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has been rated as the most popular CM in BJP ruled states after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of UP in a survey published by India Today media group. In the survey, Dhami has got around 51 percent votes and is followed by Hemanta Biswa Sarma, the CM of Assam, who has got 17 percent of votes, while Bhupendra Patel of Gujarat is in third position with 16 percent along with Pramod Sawant of Goa with 16 percent votes.
Bhatt said that Pushkar Singh Dhami, one of the youngest Chief Ministers of the country, has once again achieved the title of the most popular Chief Minister in BJP-ruled states after Yogi across the country with his efficiency, and this is a moment of pride for the state. Many decisions of Chief Minister Dhami have become an example across the country. A different image has emerged from his big policy decisions taken for the development of the state. Chief Minister Dhami is very popular especially among the women and the youth due to the decisions taken in the interest of the state.
Bhatt also reminded that that this survey has been conducted by one of the country’s prestigious media group on its online platform. As many as 51.1 percent of the people have voted for Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During the poll, the public has also openly praised the decisions and work of Chief Minister Dhami through its comments. This increases the pride of Uttarakhand.
Mahendra Bhatt claimed that CM Dhami has got Uttarakhand the first place in the country in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) ranking of NITI Aayog regarding development works. A few months ago, Chief Minister Dhami has been registered in the list of most followed leaders in the country after Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah. His followers on Facebook page alone have crossed one crore.
Bhatt further claimed that, by implementing the country’s first strict anti-copying law, Chief Minister Dhami had set an example for the country. Especially after Uttarakhand, UP and the Central Government have also implemented almost similar strict anti-copying laws. Apart from this, by taking the decision to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state first, he has set an example across the country. Bhatt also reminded that hundreds of hectares of land were freed from encroachment and many major laws like effective action on land jihad, strict anti-riot law, religious conversion law were implemented. From leading the safe rescue of 41 workers in the Silkyara tunnel disaster and dealing with the Joshimath disaster to leading rescue operations in Haldwani and other places in the state including the recent Kedarnath disaster, Dhami has played his responsibility with great prudence. In the role of a skilled politician, the young Chief Minister Dhami held public meetings across the country in the Lok Sabha elections, while he won all the five seats of Uttarakhand with record votes. Under the leadership of Dhami, who is accelerating the development of the state in every respect, the state is moving towards becoming one of the best states in the country. Under the leadership of Dhami, the respect of the state has increased across the country and it is a matter of pride for the people of the state.
