Dehradun, 22 Nov: Four alumni of Sardar Bhagwan Singh University (SBSU) have successfully cleared the Drug Inspector examination conducted by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). Out of 72 candidates interviewed on 24-25 October, only 18 were selected, including SBSU’s distinguished achievers: Dr Archana Uppal (B Pharm 2001-2005), Gauree Kukreti (B Pharm 2006-2010, M Pharm 2010-2012), Shubham Kotnala (B Pharm 2012-2016), and Nidhi Raturi (B Pharm 2016-2019).


Dr Gaurav Deep Singh, President of SBSU, extended his heartfelt congratulations, saying, “We are extremely proud of the remarkable achievements of Dr Archana Uppal, Gauree Kukreti, Shubham Kotnala, and Nidhi Raturi. Their success is a testament to their hard work and determination, and it highlights the calibre of students we nurture here at SBSU. We celebrate their accomplishment as a reflection of the values of excellence and perseverance instilled in them during their time at the university.”

Prof (Dr) J Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of SBSU, also congratulated the achievers, stating, “We are immensely proud of their remarkable accomplishment. Their success reflects their hard work and the values they imbibed at SBSU. Such milestones inspire our entire university community to aim higher.”
Prof (Dr) Veerma Ram, Director of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology, praised the alumni, emphasising how their success enhances the university’s reputation and motivates current students. “Our alumni have set a benchmark of dedication and determination. We wish them continued success in all their endeavors,” he said.
SBSU reiterated its commitment to nurturing talent and fostering excellence, looking forward to more such inspiring milestones from its alumni.
