Minister Joshi inaugurates, lays foundation stones for development works in Dobhalwala Ward

Dehradun, 23 Dec: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various development works in Dobhalwala Ward, located on Nashvile Road in the Mussoorie assembly constituency on Monday. These works, worth over Rs 35 lakh, include the inauguration of works costing over Rs 22 lakh and the foundation laying of works costing over Rs 13 lakh.

The inaugurated works include the construction of CC roads, retaining walls, and security walls. During the event, Minister Ganesh Joshi congratulated the residents of the area for the completion of these projects. He emphasised that these works would significantly benefit the local residents once completed. Minister Joshi also instructed the officials concerned to ensure the timely completion of the foundation-laying works. He stated that the double-engine government is continuously working to strengthen basic facilities in line with public sentiments.

The works inaugurated include construction of a room and toilet at Durga Mata Temple in Ahir Mandi, Dobhalwala, at a cost of Rs 3.44 lakh. Construction of a CC road and drainage from Mahimraj’s house to Dinesh Kumar’s house in Parsoliwala, Ward-10, Dobhalwala, costing Rs 12.48 lakh. Construction of a CC road from Mother Teresa house to Palji’s house on Nashvile Road in Ward-10, Dobhalwala, costing Rs 2.19 lakh. Construction of a CC road from Kantaprasad Kanthola’s house to Omprakash Bhatt’s house on Nashvile Road in Ward-10, Dobhalwala, at a cost of Rs4.64 lakh.

Foundation Stones were laid for construction of a CC road from SR Upreti’s house to Arya’s house in Ravindrapuri, Ward-10, Dobhalwala, costing Rs 6.74 lakh. RCC slab construction near Jeet Singh Negi’s house in Ahir Mandi, Ward-10, Dobhalwala, at a cost of Rs 1.96 lakh. Construction of a tin shed and flooring at the Shiv Narayan Temple in Parsoliwala, Ward-10, Dobhalwala, at a cost of Rs 5.00 lakh.

The event was attended by Pradeep Rawat, Mohan Bahuguna, Pushpa Bisht, Dr Babita Sahotra, Bablu Chadha, Ankit Joshi, Jeetu Bisht, Jeevan Lama, and others.
