Dignitaries call on CM to extend New Year greetings

Dehradun, 1 Jan: On the occasion of the New Year, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, several MLAs, senior IAS, IPS and IFS officers of Uttarakhand cadre and senior PCS and PPS officers called on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his official residence here, today, to extend their greetings. In addition, people from various walks of life also called on the CM.
The Chief Minister reciprocated their wishes and emphasised the importance of beginning the New Year with renewed resolve. He articulated his vision of making Uttarakhand one of the leading states in the country, emphasising that this goal could be achieved through the collective efforts and contributions of the state’s people.

In the context of the silver jubilee year of Uttarakhand’s formation, Dhami stressed on the necessity of collective and united efforts to elevate the state to the forefront in all sectors. He reiterated the government’s commitment to holistic development, focusing on areas such as environmental and cultural conservation, economic growth, tourism, agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry.
The CM also assured the public that the government is working diligently to fulfil the aspirations of the people. He stated that ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach even the most marginalised sections of society. Innovation remains a cornerstone of the administration’s approach toward achieving sustainable and inclusive development, he claimed.
