DEHRADUN, 29 Jan: Ann Mary School came alive with excitement on Wednesday as 118 students from the Class of 2025 gathered for a memorable shirtsigning event, marking their last regular school day before Board examinations. Executive Director Ankita Joshi, Principal Preeti Saxena, Vice-Principal Pallavi Gupta, and faculty members joined the students in creating lasting memories.
The morning began with enthusiastic students arriving on campus, armed with markers, pens, and cameras. The pristine white school shirts soon became canvases for heartfelt messages as classmates and teachers began writing their wishes and memories. The school administration had thoughtfully organized this special event to give students meaningful mementos of their school years.
Throughout the day, different sections of the campus buzzed with activity. The basketball court echoed with laughter as students gathered for group photographs, while the cafeteria and school garden became popular spots for shirt signing and capturing memories. Students creatively used colorful markers, adorning back of the shirts, sleeves, and collars with messages, small drawings, and quotes that have special meanings.
“Today marks a significant milestone for our students,” shared Ankita Joshi. “These signed shirts will become treasured keepsakes of their school journey.” Principal Dr Preeti Saxena added, “It’s heartwarming to see our students celebrate their last regular school day with such joy and camaraderie.”
The school canteen prepared a special lunch menu for the occasion, while students moved freely around campus, visiting their favorite spots one last time. Many students took moments to visit their classrooms, reflecting on their years at Ann Mary School.
The Vice-Principal and faculty members actively participated in the celebrations, sharing words of encouragement and signing shirts with personalized messages. Teachers reminisced about watching these students grow and shared their hopes for their futures.
As the afternoon progressed, groups of students gathered on the school grounds for final photographs. The day culminated in a special gift distribution ceremony for the Class 12 students, adding another meaningful memory to their final day. Students exchanged not just signatures but also small cards and notes, creating multiple mementos of their school years.
The Class of 2025 will return in February for their Board examinations. The signed shirts and gifts will serve as tangible reminders of their time at Ann Mary School, each signature and message preserving stories of friendship and shared experiences.
The event concluded with group photographs of students with the school leadership and faculty, marking a poignant transition from daily school life to their next academic chapter. As students bid farewell to their regular school routine, they carried with them not just signed shirts but hearts full of memories and hopes for the future.
