DEHRADUN, 1 Feb: NCC Cadets who participated in Republic Day Parade met with Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Kamal Ghanshala on Saturday.
Graphic Era Deemed University’s NCC Cdt. Vinayak Thakur of B. Tech Computer Science & Engineering and Cdt. Manas Dhyani of B.Sc Nursing participated in the parade. Chairman Ghanshala congratulated both the cadets for their remarkable performance and honoured each of them with a cash prize of Rs. 51,000.
Both the cadets participated in Flag Area and Prime Minister’s Rally in the Republic Day parade in Delhi. For his outstanding performance, Cdt. Vinayak was awarded the title of Best Cadet of Uttarakhand Directorate (Army Wing). He is the only cadet from Uttarakhand to be honoured with DG Commendation. He was also selected for multiple events including the Youth Exchange Program, cultural programme and Master of Ceremonies.
