Dehradun, 6 Feb: Dr Renu Pant’s poetry collection, “AI Prem Avatar”, published by Sarva-Bhasha Trust, was released at World Book Fair-2025, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, under the chairmanship of famous writer Dr Lakshmi Shankar Bajpai.
Poet-Critic Dr Om Nischal, lyricist Naresh Sandilya, Anil Meet, Shashikant, Tara Chand, and Director of Sarva Bhasha Trust, Keshav Mohan Pandey expressed their views as the main speakers at the function. All the guests were welcomed and honoured in the traditional way by presenting them shawls and Uttarakhandi caps.
In his speech, Naresh Sandilya said that Dr Renu Pant is a very good poetess. Her love poems written on ‘Buransh flowers’ are very famous. Anil Meet said that Dr Renu Pant’s poems on mountains are especially worth noting. He recited Dr Pant’s ‘Poem on Government Files’, which was appreciated by all the guests present at the event. Dr Lakshmi Shankar Bajpai said, “I have read all the poems of Dr Renu Pant’s ‘AI Prem Avatar’. This is probably the first book of love poems on AI. Her poems written on women empowerment are praiseworthy.”
Director of Sarva Bhasha Trust, Keshav Mohan Pandey said that AI is a different kind of subject, and its poems are very pleasant. On this occasion, writer Lalitya Lalit, Editor of Navodit Pravah Rajneesh Trivedi, Tara Chand, Shashikant, Akhilesh Chaman, Ravindra Rishi, Dr Rahul, poetess Ashma Kaul, Manoj ‘Abodh’, Poetess Bhavana Shukla, Prateek, Prabhakar Punj, Bhuwan Pant, and Sanjay Sharma were among those present. The event was conducted by Anil Meet. The programme was organised by Sarva Bhasha Trust and Vayam.
Writer Dr Renu Pant is a resident of Dehradun and on 10 January 2025, she has been honoured by ONGC Dehradun.
