Dehradun, 27 Feb: After a long wait, 32 sub-inspectors of the Uttarakhand Police Department have been promoted to inspectors. The promoted sub-inspectors are from the 2008 batch from different wings of the police, with 27 sub-inspectors from civil police and five from Intelligence, who have received the promotion to inspector.
The 27 sub-inspectors posted in civil police and promoted to inspector are Vikas Kumar posted in Udham Singh Nagar, Tikam Singh Chauhan in Tehri Garhwal, Madan Mohan Bhatt in Dehradun, Kamal Singh in the Human Rights Commission, Diwan Singh Bisht in Udham Singh Nagar, Jitendra Singh Chauhan in Dehradun, Vipin Bahuguna in STF, Manmohan Singh Rawat in Police Headquarters, Madan Mohan Joshi in Almora, Pradeep Singh Rawat in Dehradun, Rajesh Pandey in Udham Singh Nagar, Dharmendra Singh in Tehri Garhwal, Yogesh Dutt in Dehradun, Kailash Chandra Joshi in Tenali Satark Sector Haldwani, Shweta Negi in Police Headquarters, Manoj Rawat in Uttarakhand Sadan Delhi, Bhagwan Singh in Haridwar, Bhaskar Thapiyal in Tehri Garhwal, Ashok Kashyap in Chief Minister Security, Anurodh Vyas in Chamoli, Devendra Gaurav in Udham Singh Nagar, Harendra Singh Negi in Nainital, Chetan Rawat in Champawat, Sarita Shah in PC Narendra Nagar, Anil Upadhyay in Udham Singh Nagar, Sanjay Mishra in Tehri Garhwal, and Prashant Bahuguna in Haridwar.
Additionally, five sub-inspectors in Intelligence have also been promoted to inspectors of police: Shanti Bisht posted in SPR Haldwani, Jitendra Singh Bisht in Intelligence Headquarters, Vikas Nautiyal in LIU Dehradun, Santosh Kumar in Raj Bhawan Security, and Surat Singh in LIU Pauri.
Today, on promotion from the post of Sub Inspector Civil Police to the post of Inspector Civil Police, Sub Inspector Jitendra Singh Chauhan, SHO Basant Vihar, Sub Inspector Pradeep Singh Rawat, and Sub Inspector Yogesh Dutt were decorated with the rank of Inspector by SSP Ajai Singh and SP City Pramod Kumar, who wished them a bright future.
