A Wake-Up Call for All My People

Whether you are a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian or belong to any other sect or religion; as long as you are a true Indian national; now is the time to show your real-self and patriotism for the nation. Our neighbour across the border has shown its meanness and cowardice by killing innocent tourists from all parts of India and abroad at Pahalgam in J&K recently (targeting only Hindus) through its terrorist outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and others coming under the Al Qaeda umbrella, so to say. Let me not mince words by saying that our born-arch-enemy cannot go scot-free and will not only have to pay a heavy price this time but face virtual extinction from the map of the Planet-Earth.
Already our brave Indian Defence Forces, including the Indian Air Force; the Indian Army; the Indian Navy, besides all our para military forces including the BSF; the CISF; the SSB; and others including our NCC cadets and trained DRDO professionals & the bravest of them all, our NSA under the leadership of our gutsy Defence Minister and our worthy Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his entire set of dedicated Cabinet Ministers & Government have shown the way – How to teach our Enemy a Lesson & How to Honour & Safeguard the “Sindoor” of our sisters, mothers, daughters & Maa Bharti as a whole United Country. Let there be no iota of doubt in the minds of anybody in India and the world that at this moment of need even the Opposition Leaders have shown their patriotism and dedication to the nation, INDIA, or you may say in bold words HINDUSTAN. While we prepare for the final but prolonged onslaught let each one of us take a vow and pledge to stand behind our brave soldiers, Defence Forces, civilian outfits and most importantly ‘Our Government and Our Prime Minister’. Today it is not for us to question Why; but it is the time to Do or Die. Friends, Indians, Countrymen – Lend me your ears; I have come here to bury our Enemy, not to praise Modi. So, tighten your seat belts; open your eyes and ears and do all you can to not only look after yourself; your family; your next door needy old, frail and little ones but all united people of this holy land who come your way.
Way back in September 1965, when I was preparing for the Civil Services Examination to be held by the UPSC, New Delhi, war broke out with Pakistan. I have seen and witnessed with my own eyes and ears ‘Black Out Nights & Sirens’ and their effect on daily life, which transforms itself on its own according to the circumstances. At that time my patriotic fervour had made me write from my heart two poems titled – “To The Front’ & “From The Front” (later title changed to “Our Kashmir”) which were not only broadcast on AIR for raising the morale of our forces by the well-known Chief Radio Broadcaster, Melville De Mello; but also acknowledged and appreciated by none other than Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan; the then President of India; Dr Zakir Hussain, the then Vice President of India; and Indira Gandhi; the then Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting. The poems with ‘reference to context’ along with copies of acknowledgement letters from (‘our country’s top-brass’) are available for you to view, read, react and respond in the light of “Operation Sindoor”. By the way, in passing, let me mention the exact acronym for the emotional and sentimental word for a Hindu married woman, i.e., “SINDOOR” stands for ‘Strategic Initiative for Neutralising Destructive Opponents with Overwhelming Retaliation’.
