Dehradun, 25 Nov: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced the commencement of its All-India Sports and Cultural Meet – “XX NABOTSAV 2025” in Dehradun, scheduled from 26 to 29 November. This year’s event holds special significance as it coincides with the Silver Jubilee Year of Uttarakhand.
The grand inaugural ceremony will be held at the Parade Ground, Dehradun, graced by GS Rawat, Deputy Managing Director, NABARD; Amit Sinha, Secretary, Sports, Uttarakhand; P Dinesh, Chief General Manager (HRMD), NABARD, Head Office, Mumbai; Pankaj Yadav, Chief General Manager, Uttarakhand Regional Office, NABARD.
The total number of events to be held is 6 – Badminton, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Cricket, and Singing Competition.
The venues will be – Parade Ground: Badminton & Table Tennis; Red Fox Hotel: Carrom & Chess; Heritage Cricket Academy: Cricket; Survey of India Auditorium: Singing Competition & Closing Ceremony.
Around 330 participants from across the country will showcase their talent and sportsmanship.
Adding to the excitement, NABARD has unveiled the official mascot “Kasturi”, inspired by the state animal of Uttarakhand – the Musk Deer, symbolising agility, grace, and cultural pride.
NABOTSAV is NABARD’s flagship annual event fostering camaraderie, cultural exchange, and holistic development among its employees nationwide. The XX edition promises to be a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and creativity.
