Dehradun, 2 Dec: In a significant development, the Graphic Era Group of Institutions has officially partnered with the Crime Literature Festival of India (CLFI) as its Knowledge Partner for the upcoming third edition of the festival.
This collaboration was formalised today in a high-level meeting at Graphic Era University, where Festival Director and Chief Patron of the Doon Cultural and Literary Society (DCLS) Aloke Lal, Chief Editor of Garhwal Post Satish Sharma, and Festival Coordinator Praveen Chandhok met Prof (Dr) Kamal Ghanshala, the visionary Founder President of Graphic Era.
The meeting was facilitated by Satish Sharma, who played a pivotal role in bringing the stakeholders together.

During the meeting, Dr Ghanshala recalled his long association with Aloke Lal, who also served as Director at the Graphic Era University after his superannuation. He also spoke fondly of his association with Satish Sharma and Garhwal Post since its inception.
Ashok Kumar, former DGP-Uttarakhand, and President of DCLS, hailed the partnership as “a turning point for CLFI – this alliance will ignite young minds with the power of ideas, justice, and reform.”
Festival Director and former DGP Aloke Lal added, “Graphic Era’s support gives wings to our vision. We are now set to soar higher and reach further.”
Dr Ghanshala – an eminent academician and forward-thinking edupreneur – warmly welcomed the association, acknowledging the festival’s potential to inspire, educate, and transform young minds into socially aware and responsible professionals through experiential learning.
This strategic partnership is expected to greatly amplify the reach and cultural impact of CLFI, particularly among the student and youth communities of Dehradun. With Graphic Era’s active involvement, CLFI now steps into a more powerful phase of media outreach, civic engagement, and literary dialogue.
Together, this alliance promises to elevate CLFI into a truly national movement of ideas, reform, and storytelling.
