Dehradun, 2 Dec: The new poster of ‘The Battle of Shatrughat’ unveiled at IFFI 2025 in Goa has captured attention, with Aarushi Nishank emerging as the undeniable highlight.
The film brings together a stellar cast including Gurmeet Chaudhary, Aarushi Nishank, Sidharth Nigam, Mahesh Manjrekar, Raza Murad and Zarina Wahab.
Making her cinematic presence in a commanding warrior-princess avatar, Aarushi brings an arresting blend of elegance, strength and royalty to the frame. Dressed in a richly detailed traditional lehenga paired with ornate royal jewellery, she wields a massive sword with calm authority — instantly setting the tone for a character who is both graceful and formidable.
Her look stands out not just for its visual beauty but for the fierce energy she radiates, making it clear that her character will play a pivotal role in the epic war narrative.
Alongside her, Gurmeet Choudhary appears as a battle-hardened warrior with bloodied cuts and armour, while Siddharth Nigam sports a darker, rugged look with long messy hair and a heavy fur coat, amplifying the film’s raw, mythic tone. Their contrasting warrior personas frame Aarushi’s regal presence at the centre, making her debut even more striking.
The Battle of Shatrughat promises a sweeping cinematic experience rooted in blood, honour and destiny — with Aarushi Nishank making a powerful first impression as the face of a new warrior-princess in Indian cinema
Aarushi, who debuted with “Wafa Na Raas Aayi” (380M+ views), has since built a global fanbase and represented India at Cannes 2025, promoting sustainability. Audiences are eagerly waiting to see her shine on the big screen.
With a strong vision by Shahid Kazmi, writing by Sajad Khaki, and Darshan Kamwal’s stunning costume design, the film promises scale, emotion and romance wrapped inside a grand war narrative.
