Chief Minister Dhami inspects development projects in Bageshwar

Bageshwar, 7 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the ongoing development and beautification works on the banks of the Saryu River in Bageshwar on Sunday. He inquired about the progress of the projects from officials and directed that all work be completed in a timely and quality manner. The Chief Minister interacted with local citizens, listened to their problems, and received feedback on government schemes.

During his visit to Bageshwar, the Chief Minister visited the Badminton Indoor Stadium, where he played badminton with the players and encouraged them. Inquiring about the availability of training facilities, sports equipment, and resources, he said that the state government is continuously striving to develop sports infrastructure to international standards, so that Uttarakhand’s players can excel at the national and global levels.

Chief Minister Dhami then reached the Bagnath Temple, where he performed ceremonial prayers and prayed for the state’s prosperity and public welfare. Devotees present at the temple complex welcomed him and shared their thoughts.

Chief Minister Shri Dhami extended his best wishes to the people of the state at a programme organised on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day. He said that this day is an opportunity to remember the indomitable valour, sacrifice, and outstanding service of the country’s brave soldiers. During this event, the Military Welfare Department presented the Chief Minister with a token flag and a lapel pin.

District Magistrate Akanksha Konde, Minister of State rank Shiv Singh Bisht, Bhupesh Upadhyay, District Panchayat President Shobha Arya, MLA Parvati Das, MLA Suresh Gadiya, Municipal President Suresh Khetwal, Additional District Magistrate NS Nabiyal, SDM Priyanka Rani, Lalit Mohan Tiwari along with other officers and public representatives were present at the programme.
