Almora, 23 Dec: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a multipurpose camp organised at Nyaya Panchayat Jainoli in Tarikhet Block here today, as part of the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign. During his visit, the CM inspected stalls set up by various departments and personally attended to public grievances while seated at the Mukhya Sevak stall. He also engaged in a direct dialogue with the citizens present at the camp. He lent a patient ear to the complaints one by one and issued instructions to the departmental officers concerned for a swift and time-bound redressal. During the event, Dhami emphasised that the primary objective of these camps is to ensure that government services are available to the common person at their doorstep and to eliminate the need for them to run from pillar to post to resolve their issues. He also stated that the officers concerned will now visit villages themselves to address and solve the problems faced by the public.

The CM further noted that, under this campaign, all the government departments concerned have been brought together on a single platform at the people’s doorstep. He urged the public to make the most of this facility, reiterating that these programmes are being specifically organised for the convenience of the people. Responding to a complaint regarding the dilapidated condition of the PM Government Inter College, Jainoli, building during the camp, he announced the renovation of the school premises and asserted that providing a safe and superior educational environment for students remains a top priority for the government.

Dhami also observed that the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign is an effective initiative towards strengthening the dialogue and the trust and participation between the administration and the public, through which public problems are being resolved in a fast, transparent, and efficient manner. Among those present on the occasion were Ranikhet MLA Pramod Nainwal, District Magistrate (DM) Anshul Singh, Chief Development Officer (CDO) Ramjisharan Sharma, Joint Magistrate Gauri Prabhat, along with hundreds of local villagers who gathered to engage with the government’s outreach efforts.
