Dehradun, 2 Oct: Film actor Nana Patekar paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the CM’s Camp Office on Saturday. On this occasion, the CM presented a Pahari cap to Nana Patekar.
Dhami said that the film industry is being encouraged in Uttarakhand. The film policy is being made more attractive so that even more filmmakers come to the state. Shooting of films is being provided clearances through a single window system. No fee is being charged for shooting. The state of Uttarakhand has received the Most Film Friendly State (Special Mention) Award under the 68th National Film Awards.
Patekar said that the natural beauty of Uttarakhand is very good for shooting and the environment for filming is also very good. He said that the people of Devbhoomi are very good; there is cordiality in their behaviour. He said that he had a good experience shooting his latest film here and he wished to build a house in Uttarakhand. Nana Patekar is presently shooting for a Marathi film in Uttarakhand.
