Roorkee, 11 Dec: The opening day of the Indian Army Recruitment Rally in Roorkee saw a strong turnout, with eager candidates from seven districts of Uttarakhand – Dehradun, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, Haridwar, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Pauri Garhwal – participating in large numbers.
A total of 1,218 hopefuls gathered to showcase their skills and compete for the chance to join the Indian Army as Agniveers. Despite the chilly weather, the candidates displayed impressive enthusiasm and energy, setting an optimistic tone for the days ahead. Organisers expressed their satisfaction with the performances on the first day and are looking forward to even more outstanding displays of talent in the coming days.
