Dehradun, 22 Jul: The CBSE Board declared the Class 10 and Class 12 results, today. While the Class 12 results were declared in the morning, Class 10 results were declared in the afternoon. Dehradun region of CBSE includes not only 13 districts of entire Uttarakhand but also eight districts of Uttar Pradesh. These eight districts of UP include Rampur, Moradabad, Sambhal, Badaun, Saharanpur, Amroha, Muzaffarnagar and Bijnor districts. Agrima Pradhan has topped the Dehradun region in Class 10 examination while Abhinav Uniyal topped the Class 12 examination.
Officially, as per the earlier decision of the Board to avoid unhealthy competition among the students, no merit list has been declared. This time the board is also not grading the performance into first, second or third divisions.
Girls have once again outperformed boys in the Class 12 examinations. The result of Dehradun district was 85.39 percent. Dehradun district has been ranked 15th out of 16 regions on the basis of overall performance. As many as 93.03 percent students have passed Class 10 in Dehradun region. The topper of Dehradun region in Class 10 examination is Agrima Pradhan.
In class 12, Abhinav Uniyal from Rishikesh has topped the Dehradun region with 99.6 percent marks. He is a student of DSB International Public School. He has secured 498 marks out of 500. Harman Kaur of Rudrapur also secured 498 marks and is the co-topper, while Kashish Yadav from Amroha is also among the toppers in Dehradun region by securing 99.6 percent marks. Mansi Sethi of Roorkee secured 497 marks along with Saurabh Singh of Pithoragarh. In Dehradun city, Bhavya Gujral of DPS Dehradun secured 495 marks.
Sneha Gusain, a student of Greenway Modern Senior Secondary School, Roorkee, has secured 99.2 percent marks in class 12. This student is from commerce group. Whereas Harshvardhan Gupta of the same school has secured 98.8 percent marks. The result of Dehradun district was 85.39 percent. Dehradun district has been ranked 15th out of 16 regions on the basis of overall performance. Abhinav Uniyal stood first with 99.60 per cent marks in the CBSE 12th examination results released on Friday morning.
In CBSE 12th Dehradun region the result was 85.39 percent. This time, 69,825 students were registered for the exam, of which 69,413 took the exam. Of these, 59,272 students have passed, out of which 33642 are boys and 25630, girls. The result of aided schools is 72.73 percent, while the result in government schools is 96.65 percent. The result was 84.18 percent in private schools, 99.73 percent in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, 96.96 percent in KVs and 96.91 percent in Tibetan schools.
Abhinav of Rishikesh has become the topper in class 12. He is a student of DBS International School.
This year, the CBSE board has launched a portal named Pariksha Sangam. School Wise Results have been uploaded by CBSE on this portal.
