DEHRADUN, 7 Nov: The second day of the DDPSA Senior Girls’ Basketball tournament hosted by The Aryan School witnessed matches between St Thomas’ College, Shigally Hills International School, Welham Girls’ School, Doon Cambridge School, The Aryan School and Summer Valley School. In the first match, St Thomas’ College was declared the winner with a 20-0 score as it got a walkover against Shigally Hills International School. In the second match, Welham Girls’ won against Doon Cambridge School with a score of 50-15 baskets. The highest scorer for Welham Girls was Ishani with 14 baskets and, for Doon Cambridge School, Garima scored 6 baskets. In the third match, The Aryan School won against Summer Valley School with a score of 49-25 baskets. Merina Shrestha was the highest scorer for The Aryan School with 20 baskets, and Anshika scored 8 baskets for Summer Valley. The officials of the matches were Rishi Bangwal, Mayank Khansali, Sachin Rawat and Abhishek.
