Asian School students participate in Human-Chain against single use plastic

Dehradun, 5 Nov: In order to bring about awareness in the masses against single use plastic products and encourage them to completely abandon polythene from daily use, a 50 km long human-chain was formed, here, today.
The senior wing students of The Asian School actively participated in this joint initiative of the Uttarakhand State Pollution Control Board and Dehradun Municipal Corporation. The students formed a human chain along the road and attracted the attention of the masses and contributed to achieving the noble goal of the event.
The students were motivated to educate the people about the hazardous effects of single use plastic and to inspire people to adopt plastic free practices in their households, offices and save the environment by keeping it free from pollution.
