Dehradun, 5 Nov: A number of students and teachers from Graphic Era were involved in making the human chain in Doon against single-use plastic. The responsibility of creating a human chain from Mohkampur flyover to Araghar Chowk was entrusted to Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University.
Students and teachers of Graphic Era reached in the morning to form a human chain in this area. During this, the students took out small rallies and also gave the message of a polythene-free green Doon to the people. Chairman, Graphic Era Group, Prof Dr Kamal Ghanshala said this largest educational group in Uttarakhand had taken out a 22 km long cycle rally on 2 October to awaken people on the issue of a polythene-free, clean and green Doon. Every day, students were participating in this campaign by organising a rally in Clement Town.
