Australian students undertake clean-up drive at Mogi Village

MUSSOORIE, 16 Dec: Students from Australia conducted a cleanliness campaign at Mogi, a village near Kempty, today. They also made villagers aware of cleanliness and garbage management. Students urged the villagers to maintain cleanliness around their houses so that the village can be made clean and beautiful. The foreign students were happy to observe the culture and living conditions of the village. They further said that the natural beauty and culture of Uttarakhand was beautiful and they felt very good at coming to Uttarakhand. The foreign students, who came under the leadership of Jaipal Singh Kandari, tried to learn about the Jaunpur culture and obtained information on how people lived in the rural environment. Gram Pradhan Sohan Kandari welcomed all the foreign guests and provided detailed information about the culture of the state. He appreciated the efforts put in by the foreign students on cleanliness. Present on this occasion were many women of the village along with the senior head of Jaunpur Block, Sardar Singh Kandari, Narendra Panwar, Shivansh, etc.
