Dehradun, 17 Mar: The literary figure and teacher, Bharati Mishra, has been awarded a Doctorate (PhD) by Sparsh Himalaya University. Bharati Mishra was awarded this degree for her research paper “A Critical Study of the Narrative Literature of Modern Story Writers of Uttarakhand”.

Mishra completed her research paper under the guidance of renowned literary figure Dr Savita Mohan. The viva examination of the research paper was conducted by Professor Dr Mukhtinath Yadav, Hindi Department, Sridev Suman University, Rishikesh campus. On the occasion of the viva examination, University Vice-Chancellor Dr Govind Singh Rajwar, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Rakesh Kumar Sundriyal, Hindi Department Head Dr Manisha Agarwal, and Dr Nidhi Upreti, Research Coordinator SK Srivastava, along with researchers and students, were also present.

Many scholars, literary figures, and well-wishers from the literary and academic world have congratulated Bharati Mishra on this achievement and wished her a bright future.
