NAINITAL, 17 Mar: Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, who is currently on a visit to Nainital district, has clarified that there is no shortage of LPG gas in the state and urged people not to pay heed to rumours.
He stated that there is adequate availability of LPG across Uttarakhand and that regular supply of both domestic as well as commercial cylinders is being ensured, including even to small restaurants and roadside eateries. He emphasised that consumers are receiving gas as per their demand in a timely and sufficient manner.
The Chief Secretary further appealed to the public not to panic under any circumstances and to ignore misleading information. He assured that uninterrupted and regular supply of LPG would continue to be maintained throughout the state.
