Bhoomi Poojan held for Bharat Mata Aradhna Mahayagya

DEHRADUN, 20 Dec: Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat took part in the Bhoomi Poojan Programme of Bharat Mata Aradhna Mahayagya that got underway at Saptrishi Ashram, Haridwar, on Thursday. Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik was also present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister said, “We address our country as Bharat Mata, which makes us the sons and daughters of this nation, meaning thereby the nation is the supreme for all. For individual recognition and protection, every person should first acknowledge the needs of the nation and love it unconditionally. Due to India’s strong and sustainable culture, the nation had continuously established its presence in the world since ancient times.”
The Chief Minister said that the important defender of India’s Sanatan Culture was the practice of Sanyas and saintly traditions, due to which everyone, from time to time, by taking guidance from it, tried to keep culture together. The Chief Minister lauded the idea of organising the Mahayagya, while praying for happiness and peace in the whole country. He expressed delight at getting the opportunity to offer Ahuti on the state government’s behalf in this Yajna for a prosperous Bharat.
Present on the occasion were Jhabrera MLA Deshraj Karnwal, Founder of Bharat Mata Temple Trust, Swami Satyamitranand Giri, BJP District President Jaipal Chauhan, former Mayor Manoj Garg, Mahamandaleshwar Harichetanand Maharaj, Manvendra Singh Chaudhary, Suresh Kedia, Kamlesh Sinhal, Vikas Tiwari, Naresh Sharma and other dignitaries.
