Dehradun, 24 Aug: BJP leader and former state spokesperson Ravindra Jugran has strongly reacted to a recent statement made by former Chief Minister and Congress leader Harish Rawat.
Jugran said that Harish Rawat, who once described Harak Singh Rawat as an “Ujād Bald” (a ruined bull), is now echoing the very allegations made by him. He remarked that, if Harish Rawat truly considers Harak Singh Rawat’s allegations serious, then instead of mere rhetoric, he should formally submit a written complaint to the central and state investigating agencies.
He further said that the long-standing political rivalry between Harish Rawat and Harak Singh Rawat is well known, yet both speaking in the same voice today is beyond public understanding. Jugran described this as the height of selfishness, shallowness, and degeneration in politics.
Jugran also reminded that it was Harak Singh Rawat who once played a role in toppling Harish Rawat’s government and was behind the sting operation against him, and now both standing together exposes the opportunistic U-turns of politics.
