Dehradun, 20 Jan: Haridwar MLA and a special invitee member of the BJP National Working Committee, Madan Kaushik today stated that the BJP’s National Executive Committee has pledged full support to the relief and rehabilitation work being done by the Dhami Government in the wake of land subsidence in Joshimath.
The former BJP State President said that the National Executive Committee has resolved to stand with the disaster affected families in Joshimath and pledged full support under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the rehabilitation work being done in Joshimath. Kaushik was addressing a press conference at BJP State Headquarters here, today, following his return from the BJP’s National Executive meet held recently.
Kaushik stated that the Executive Committee had expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for developing the image of India as a decisive, visionary, strong and alert nation in the world. He said, the Party’s entire national leadership led by PM Modi was also thanked for the resounding victory in various assembly elections.
Kaushik said that, at the meeting of the National Executive Committee, ambitious plans for development in the BJP-ruled states were discussed in detail. The Committee praised implementation of several ongoing schemes by the Dhami Government in Uttarakhand and said the implementation of some of the schemes by Dhami Government in Uttarakhand could serve as a role model for other states.
Kaushik added that plans and resolutions on ensuring victory in the upcoming 9 state elections were discussed in detail at the meeting. A resolution was also passed expressing gratitude to the Modi government for the economic-social welfare schemes for the people, reconstruction and beautification of the country’s cultural-spiritual heritage and becoming an economic-strategic superpower in the world.
Several cultural social programmes like ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ and ‘Har GharTiranga’ were also praised at the national executive meet.
The members of the working committee have congratulated Modi on India becoming the fifth largest economy in the world and for getting the chairmanship of the Shanghai Conference and G20. It would for the first time in the history of G20 that its meetings are being organised at 200 places. Of these, 2 programmes would be held in Rishikesh, Kaushik reiterated.
Kaushik said that all the members of the Executive Committee were informed about the land subsidence problem in Joshimath and the scientific surveys and relief works undertaken by the government and the party. After discussing the disaster in detail, the executive committee assured the people of Joshimath that a permanent solution to the problem would be worked out based on the findings of the expert committees and all possible help would be provided to them.
Party State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, State Office Secretary Kaustubhanand Joshi, State Media In Charge Manveer Singh Chauhan, State party spokespersons Vinod Suyal, Naveen Thakur, Sunita Vidyarti, Rajendra Singh Negi and many party officials were present at the press conference.
