Dehradun 1Dec: BJP is going to create a dialogue with the public on a large scale regarding the utility of the historic Women’s Reservation and Religious Freedom Amendment Bills passed in the House. Party state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan stated that, as per the instructions of state president Mahendra Bhatt, senior party officials, leaders and state spokespersons would go to all the districts and hold press interactions as well as engage in dialogue with the public on these issues.

Chauhan declared that the Dhami government’s step providing 30 per cent horizontal reservation for women would prove to be decisive in increasing the economic and social participation of women power in the state. Along with this, making the law against conversion stricter was a far-sighted step to maintain demographic balance and law and order. He said that, in the same way, the party feels the need to engage with the public and share detailed information about the bills passed in the State Assembly on Wednesday and make the people aware of the benefits to be derived. Senior party leaders and state spokespersons of the party would address topic-based press conferences by visiting all the districts from 6 to 10 December.

State Vice President Kailash Sharma will address the media in Pithoragarh, Balwant Bhauryal in Almora, State Media Incharge Manveer Singh Chauhan in Tehri, Dr Devendra Bhasin in Roorkee, State Spokesperson Khajan Das in Haridwar, Suresh Joshi in Nainital (Haldwani) and Champawat, Madhu Bhatt in Dehradun Rural (Vikas Nagar), Colonel Ajay Kothiyal in Dehradun, Vinod Suyal in Rishikesh, Hemant Dwivedi in Chamoli and Rudraprayag, Virendra Bisht in Rudrapur, Naveen Thakur in Kashipur, Vipin Kainthola in Pauri (Srinagar), Prakash Rawat in Ranikhet and Bageshwar, Honey Pathak in Uttarkashi and Sunita Vidyarthi will address the media in Kotdwar.
