Mussoorie, 31 Mar: State Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, speaking at the Swami Ramtirth Mission located at Kuthal Gate in Dehradun, provided a detailed briefing to party workers regarding the government’s public welfare schemes today. This session was held as part of the training workshop for the ‘Shaheed Durga Mall Mandal’ (Mussoorie Assembly constituency) under the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Mega Training Campaign 2026′.

Addressing the workers present, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that, under the able guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the “Double Engine” government in the state is working continuously towards public welfare schemes, good governance, and holistic development. While providing information on the various schemes and achievements spearheaded by the government, he urged the workers to take these initiatives to every single citizen. The government’s primary objective, he emphasised, is to extend the benefits of development to the very last person in society. He noted that under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, numerous schemes are being implemented that provide direct benefits to the poor, farmers, women, youth, and the working class. He called upon the workers to disseminate information about these schemes from door to door so that the maximum number of people can avail themselves of the benefits.

Specifically highlighting schemes related to agriculture and soldiers’ welfare, the Cabinet Minister stated that the state government is making continuous efforts to increase farmers’ income, provide employment opportunities to the youth, and empower women to become self-reliant. He added that the objective of this training campaign is to equip the workers with accurate information regarding these schemes, thereby enabling them to engage effectively with the general public.

On this occasion, serving office-bearers within the government—including Jyoti Prasad Gairola, Bhagwat Prasad Makwana, Anil Goyal, Anoop Rawat, Gaurav Singh, and BJP State Secretary Aditya Chauhan—also addressed the workers as keynote speakers across various sessions.

All speakers expressed their enthusiasm for the government’s schemes and pledged to ensure that these initiatives reach every section of the populace. Hundreds of party workers were present at the event, including Mandal President Rajiv Gurung, Mandal In-charge Sameer Dobhal, Sandhya Thapa, and Manoj Chhetri.
