BJP will host broadcast of Mann Ki Baat at booth level: Mahendra Bhatt

Dehradun, 29 Apr: BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt today stated that BJP will make the 100th episode of “Mann Man Ki Baat” a historic and comprehensive event, with participation of every section of the society, dignitaries, top religious leaders and eminent personalities in the programme. Addressing a press conference at BJP State Headquarters here today, State Party President Mahendra Bhatt said that the responsibilities has been assigned to the Chief Minister, the party MPs, the Ministers, the party MLAs and all senior party officials by the party to ensure this.
Bhatt claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ is one of the most popular and one of the most widely heard programmes in the country, which is a matter of pride for every BJP leader. This is the reason why the whole country is eagerly waiting for the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat, he added.
Bhatt reminded that according to a study conducted by IIM Rohtak, 100 crore people of the country have listened to it at least once and 23 crore people listen to ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ regularly since its launch on 3 October, 2014. The popularity of the programme can be gauged from the fact that on 27 January 2015, the then US President Barack Obama also participated in the programme along with the Prime Minister.
He said, Modi has converted various social campaigns into mass movements by discussing in this programme. ‘Selfie with Daughter’, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Paying tribute to the national heroes through statue cleaning campaign, Promoting the value of fitness through ‘FitIndia’ campaign, Service work in difficult times of Covid 19 pandemic, Vaccination campaign, Making 95 percent of the toy business a domestic industry, promotion of domestic tourism, whether awareness of water conservation, whether cleanliness campaign, he reminded. Bhatt added that BJP has been in the front row in various campaigns talking about collective participation like ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ etc. Modi has provided an effective platform to culture, folk traditions, language, stories of people and festivals.
Giving information about the party’s programmes regarding Mann Ki Baat in the state, Bhatt said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will listen to Mann Ki Baat programme in Nainital  Vidhansabha’s Booth No. 100 at the Basketball Ground and he himself (Bhattwill listen to Mann Ki Baat programme in India’s first village Mana. Similarly, the party MPs will also participate in the programme in various assigned locations. Union Minister Ajay Bhatt will listen to the talk with minority community in Jaspur, Ajay Tamta with weavers families in Dinapani Almora Rural, Tirath Singh Rawat Kumbhichowd in Kotdwar, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in Rishi Kul Auditorium with the local sages, Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah will be present in Harsil in district Uttarkashi with tribals and Kalpana Saini in Gurukul Narsan. Apart from this, state cabinet ministers Ganesh Joshi with ex-servicemen at New Cantt Dehradun, Rekha Arya at Mach Khali, Almora Someshwar, Saurabh Bahuguna at Sitarganj Shakti Farm, Subodh Uniyal  in Muni ki Reti, Premchand Aggarwal in Raiwala.  Similarly, former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari will attend the programme in Sahaspur, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat in Balawala, Vidhansabha Speaker Ritu Khanduri in Kotdwar, State General Secretary Organisation Ajaey Kumar at Har Ki Paidi in Haridwar, National Office In-charge Mahendra Pandey with sailors in Nainital. Banshidhar Bhagat Lamachod in Kaladhungi, Madan Kaushik in Har Ki Paidi Haridwar, former cabinet minister Govind Singh Bisht will participate in Mann Ki Baat programme in Bhimtal.
Bhatt added that celebrities from different walks of life will also join. They include Basanti Bist, Pritam Bhartwan. State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, State Media Incharge Manveer Singh Chauhan, State Spokesperson Madhu Bhatt, State Co-Media In-charge Sanjeev Verma, Rajendra Negi were present at the press conference.
