DEHRADUN, 22 Dec: Addressing a press conference organised by the media department of the BJP at a hotel on Rajpur Road, here, on Friday, Neha Joshi, the National Vice President of BJP Youth Morcha, stated that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is consistently setting new benchmarks of development. In this context, a grand youth rally is scheduled to be held on 24 December at the Pavilion Ground in Dehradun.
The rally will be attended by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, National President of Bharatiya Janata Youth Morcha Tejasvi Surya, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, and several other dignitaries. The rall will conclude at the Survey Ground, Hathibarkala, passing through Darshan Lal Chowk to Ghantaghar and Behl Chowk to Dilaram Chowk.
Neha claimed that this rally is generating high enthusiasm among the youth and activists of the metropolitan area. The youth of Uttarakhand are embracing this event as a festival. The purpose of this rally is to connect the youth with PM Modi’s development narrative. The ‘Modi Hai Na’ programme aims to engage the youth who have become voters for the first time, and Neha emphasised that a significant number of such youth want to be part of Modi’s journey towards a developed India.
She stated that the first leg of the ‘Modi Hai Na’ padyatra is scheduled to take place in Uttarakhand and will cover the entire state.
Siddharth Umesh Agrawal, the President of the City BJP unit, mentioned that various organisations and social groups are also supporting this padyatra. He estimated that around 25,000 youth and common citizens, as well as party workers, will be present at the event. He emphasized that this historic padyatra will send a message across the entire state that with Modi, everything is possible. The popularity of Prime Minister Modi extends not only across India but also as a globally admired leader. During this event, posters and a song for the ‘Modi Hai Na’ programme were also unveiled.
