DEHRADUN, 6 Dec: The ‘Brahman Samaj Utthan Parishad’ will organise its 9th Annual Seminar on 9 December at the Town Hall, here. There will be a cultural function, felicitation of scholars of national level, and discussions on national and social issues.
This information was shared today by the President of the Parishad at a press conference held, here, today.
“The Chief Guest on the occasion will be Swami Rameshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj, while Mahant Digamber Bharat Giri of Tapkeshwar Mandir, MLA Ganesh Joshi, MLA Umesh Sharma, Congress Leader Lal Chand Sharma will be the special guests. Main speakers at the event will be
Lt Gen OP Kaushik (Retd), retired IG Manager Pandey and Rameshwar Dutt Sharma,” he added.
Student achievers of the Brahmin community will be felicitated with cheques of Rs 5000, each, as scholarship during the seminar.
Also present at the press conference were Siddhanath Upadhyay, Devendra Nath Shukla, SC Pathak, Dr VD Sharma, Arun Pandey, DP Pandey and Dr Mitranand Badoni.
