DEHRADUN, 12 Feb: Brooklyn School held a memento ceremony for its outgoing students of class XII. The host, class XI, had invited all the teachers and staff of the school along with Principal Manju Grover and Director Nitin Grover as special invitees to inaugurate the occasion and boost the morale of the Board students.
The programme began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Principal Manju Grover. The ceremony started with a welcome song ‘Swagat Jana’ by the school choir. This was followed by a speech by Anmol Thapa of class XI.
Principal Manju Grover, in her address to the students of class XII, said that such functions would boost the morale of the students, as every child was very special and ‘a part of us forever’. She said that success didn’t come by chance; consistent, committed and rigorous practice was required to achieve success in any sphere of life.
Director Nitin Grover said students should endeavour to achieve honour and fame through their sincere studies and right attitude.
The ISC(12) Batch of 2019 were given mementos by their subject teachers with motivating compliments written by the students of class XI. The event was anchored by Nancy Sawariya and Divyanshi Uniyal of class XI. The programme ended with a song, “Lord plant my feet on higher ground”, sung by the School Choir.
