Budget will take U’khand towards becoming a leading state: Prem Chand Aggarwal

Bhararisain, 15 Mar: Presenting the budget today, Finance Minister Prem Chand Aggarwal claimed that the budget of the government will play an important role in making Uttarakhand the leading state of the country by the year 2025. He added that the priorities of the government are reflected in this budget. He also claimed that every section of society has been taken care of. The Uttarakhand Government’s budget for the year 2023 has focused on employment, investment and tourism.

Significantly, the Minister began his speech in the local language.

The Finance Minister claimed that the state is moving towards good governance. Under the G-20 Summit, there would be three seminars held in Uttarakhand, which would be a matter of pride. Aggarwal claimed that the government is running e-cabinet, e-office, CM helplines. A corruption free app is also active. He said that injustice would not be done to the state’s young talent. The country’s strictest law would end rigging in recruitment scams.

He added that the budget is focused mainly on seven points, namely emphasis on investing in human capital; focus on inclusive development to reach out to the last person standing in the queue; focus on ensuring health facilities for all; promotion and protection of public property in capital expenditure; ensuring seamless and secure connectivity; greater focus on technological and modern development and on creating a just balance between ecology and economy.
