DEHRADUN, 14 Dec: Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, unveiled the Pastry and Tea-Coffee Lounge, ‘Buransh Local Inspired,’ dedicated to the culinary heritage of Uttarakhand at the Hyatt Centric premises.
At a programme held on Saturday, the Minister who was the Chief Guest, appreciated Hyatt‘s significant initiative to promote Uttarakhand’s culinary heritage. It was a major step forward in showcasing the rich food traditions of the state, he said. “Buransh is the first of its kind lounge that will further enrich the culinary legacy of Uttarakhand. Hyatt Centric Dehradun has taken an innovative step by promoting healthy and nutritious food. This is not just a lounge, it is a celebration of Uttarakhand’s vibrant culture and traditions. Through this initiative, we aim to offer guests a unique experience that connects them with the region’s rich culinary art and cultural heritage.The inclusion of dishes like Buransh Pastry, Jaunsar Pastry, Sikde Cookies, and Buransh Kahwa in the menu is truly commendable.”
He lauded Hyatt‘s efforts to highlight Uttarakhand’s local produce and their health benefits while creating a platform for experiencing local food. By incorporating the Himalayan flower Buransh and locally grown ingredients into their artistic pastries and special beverages was remarkable thing.
Ajit Singh Gandhi, General Manager of Hyatt Centric Dehradun, Vijay Bhatt, and several hotel officials and staff were also present on the occasion.
