Dehradun, 29 Sep: Indian Culture and the Hindi Language must be the immortal preoccupation of every Indian. Upholding the above ideal, the sixth edition of the Valley of Words celebrated shortlisted authors under three Hind categories: Fiction, Non -Fiction and Anuvaad.
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Professor Roop Kishore Shastri, Vice Chancellor, GKV College, Haridwar; Dr Anjan Rai, Director of IIP; Dr Sanjeev Chopra and Dr Laxmi Shankar Bajpayee.
A series of insightful sessions with the authors gave the audience numerous nuggets on wisdom to take back with them, be it about the journey of a writer, the art of writing or general queries on the backdrop against which their tales were constructed.
